Talkies Collective is built around a simple idea: everyday moments can bring us closer.

Founded by Shaima Syed, our independent, woman-owned company brings together coffee, conversation, and creative storytelling. Houston Talkies is our first expression of that idea—a coffee concept with a vintage spirit and a place for community at its heart.

We’re starting small, with plans for a weekend coffee trailer. The bigger vision is to make room for meaningful conversations, local voices, and the stories that give a city its character.
